I purchased these as a birthday gift. They are a nice thick glass and the Tar Heel logo is metal. Even though they were cheap, I was very happy to see they are very well made and did not look cheap. He loves them!

Nice glasses, but I was not told that they should be hand-washed, i.e., not washed in an automatic dishwasher. That's clearly an inconvenience.
